1. Scope and responsibility
This policy applies to tidaltechsoft.com and direct interactions with TidalTech Software Co., Ltd. where TidalTech determines the purposes and means of personal-data processing in the course of its own business.
It does not automatically govern data that TidalTech processes solely on a customer's documented instructions as a service provider or processor. Such processing is governed by the relevant contract, data-processing addendum or project documentation.
2. Personal data we may process
- Contact information such as name, email address, telephone number, company and role when voluntarily provided.
- Communications including emails, quotation requests, project descriptions, documents and information you send to us.
- Business information reasonably required to prepare proposals, contracts, support or services.
- Basic technical information generated by servers, such as IP address, access time, user agent, requested pages and security logs.
- Website analytics data if TidalTech introduces analytics tools and their use is permitted under applicable law.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal data through ordinary email unless it is genuinely necessary and appropriate safeguards have been agreed.
3. Purposes and lawful grounds
We may process information to respond to enquiries, assess project needs, prepare proposals or contracts, provide and support services, secure the website, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and manage business relationships.
Depending on the context and applicable law, processing may rely on consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations or legitimate business interests that do not improperly override individual rights.
4. Website, cookies and analytics
The current website does not require advertising cookies to operate. Hosting infrastructure may keep technical logs required for security, operation and troubleshooting.
If TidalTech later adds analytics, advertising pixels, heatmaps or other tracking technologies, this notice will be updated and consent or cookie-preference mechanisms will be implemented where required by applicable law.
5. Sharing and service providers
TidalTech does not sell personal data. Information may be shared where reasonably necessary with hosting, email, cloud, security and operational providers; professional advisers; relevant customers or partners in a specific transaction; or competent authorities where required by law.
Where appropriate, recipients are required to process information only for defined purposes and to apply reasonable safeguards.
6. International data transfers
Some cloud, email or infrastructure providers may process information outside Vietnam. Where cross-border transfers are subject to specific legal requirements, TidalTech will take appropriate measures under applicable law and relevant contractual arrangements.
7. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the collection purpose, business records, contractual or legal obligations, dispute handling and system protection. When no longer required, information may be deleted, anonymised or restricted as appropriate.
8. Security
TidalTech applies technical and organisational measures proportionate to the nature and risk of the processing, which may include access controls, role-based permissions, strong authentication, system updates, logging, backups, encryption where appropriate and need-to-know access.
No method of transmission or storage is absolutely secure. We therefore do not promise absolute security, but we will address incidents and notification obligations as required by applicable law.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights to be informed, obtain access, request correction, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a competent authority.
To make a request, email support@tidaltechsoft.com. We may need to verify identity and clarify the scope of a request before acting on it.
10. Children's data
TidalTech's website is directed to businesses and professional users and is not designed to intentionally collect children's personal data. If inappropriate collection is identified, we will assess and address it in accordance with applicable law.
